Karon Nowakowski, O.D.

Dr. Karon Klem Nowakowski grew up in Winchester, Indiana and received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1986. She graduated in 1990 from of IU School of Optometry and immediately associated with Dr. Morton S. (Bud) Roth, purchasing his practice August 1, 1990.
Dr. Nowakowski is a Sustaining member of Alpha Chapter of Psi Iota Xi, a past president of the Altrusa Club of Muncie and Friends of the Muncie Public Library and volunteers as a USA Swimming and NCAA Swimming Referee. Professionally, has served as president of the Indiana Optometric Association, the Indiana University School of Optometry Alumni Association, and the East Central Optometric Society. She currently serves Indiana OPTOMETRY as Awards Chair and member of the Legislative Task Force.

Wynde Ashman, O.D.

Dr. Wynde Ashman earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 and her Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University in 1999. Dr. Ashman has practiced full-time in our office since her graduation.She enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael and their two children. Dr. Ashman belongs to the Muncie Children’s Museum Guild and volunteers for Angel Worx and the American Heart Association. She is a member of Center Chapel United Methodist Church and the Delta Phi chapter of Tri Kappa.

Jeremy S Gard, O.D.

Dr. Jeremy Gard is a native of Mooreland, IN. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2007 and Doctor of Optometry degree in 2011 at Indiana University. Dr. Gard gained valuable experience through numerous externships, including three month rotations at Ireland Army Hospital in Fort Knox, KY and American Health Network Eye Specialists in Muncie, IN. He was an associate of Dr. Timothy Kenkel in Cincinnati, OH for two years, and subsequently purchased Dr. Oren Olinger’s practice in 2013. He has served as President of the East Central Optometric Society, Northeast Trustee for the Indiana Optometric Association, and currently serves as President-Elect for the IOA. Dr. Gard enjoys watching baseball and spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and their four children.

Joshua D. Greenlee, O.D.

Dr. Joshua D. Greenlee graduated from Delta High School in 2005 and went on to graduate from the University of Indianapolis in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He was a member of both the high school and collegiate tennis programs of his alma mater. After graduating from the Indiana University School of Optometry in May 2013, he became the associate of Dr. John G. Ashman. Dr. Greenlee enjoys being an uncle, spending time with his family and playing tennis and golf. He is a member of The Bridge Community Church.

Garrett Zgunda, O.D.

Dr. Garrett Zgunda is a native of Muncie, IN and graduated from Delta High School in 2011. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Indiana University in 2014 and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry degree in May 2018 from the Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Zgunda gained clinical experience through externships, including a three-month rotation at Eye Surgeons of Indiana formerly known as, American Health Network Eye Specialists in Muncie, IN. He has served as President of the East Central Optometric Society. Dr. Zgunda enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their three children.

Alice Grasso McCaslin, O.D., M.S., F.A.A.O

Dr. Alice Grasso McCaslin is a Native of Muncie, IN, and graduated from Delta High School in 2011. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Purdue University in 2014 and completed her Doctor of Optometry (2018) and Master of Science (2019) degrees from the Indiana School of Optometry. She gained experience in managing eye conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration through a residency in Ocular Disease at the Baltimore, Maryland, Veterans Affairs Hospital, which she completed in July of 2019. She currently serves as President of the East Central Optometric Society. Dr. McCaslin enjoys running and spending time with her Husband, Ian, their son and their pets.
